Tell us about your business
Tell us what you sell, where your company is established and how you ship packaged goods to customers in Germany. We’ll also ask about your packaging types and estimated annual volumes. You don’t need exact figures at this stage.
We review your requirements
We review your business model and determine whether you need an Authorized Representative in Germany, which packaging obligations apply and whether your packaging requires participation in a dual system.
Appoint PackRep Germany
If our service fits your needs, you formally appoint Pack Rep Germany as your Authorized Representative. You register your company in LUCID and appoint us using our Authorized Representative ID. The LUCID registration must be completed by you, but you won’t have to figure it out alone. We guide you personally through the process step by step whenever needed.
We handle the representation
Once appointed, we take over the legally transferable packaging obligations covered by the representation. We manage the required LUCID reporting, coordinate system participation where required, keep track of relevant deadlines and act as your regulatory point of contact in Germany.
WE HANDLE YOUR PACKAGING LICENSING
If your packaging is subject to system participation, we take care of the process as part of our service.

Based on the packaging information you provide, we coordinate the required participation with a dual system and make the corresponding volume reports.

The system participation fees are not part of our service fee. They are external costs calculated according to your packaging materials and volumes. Pack Rep does not add a markup to these costs. You pay the actual amount charged for your packaging participation, and the underlying costs remain transparent to you.
No minimum shipping volume required.
You may ship hundreds of orders to Germany one year and only a few the next. Our service is designed for small international sellers with changing, seasonal or unpredictable shipping volumes.

Small volumes don’t necessarily mean fewer obligations. If you’re unsure what applies to your business, we’ll help you find out.
SMALL BUSINESS? THAT’S FINE.
